Who I am as a teacher:

  • I am a listener, an advocate, a cheerleader, a resource navigator, and a voice for others. I am committed to being a bridge builder between the home, school, and community. I believe in the power of early intervention and prevention, working collaboratively with students, families, and school staff to identify and address concerns before they become barriers to success. We are a village of support.

  • I care deeply about creating safe, supportive spaces where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. My approach centers on meeting each student where they are and building on their unique strengths while addressing their individual challenges.
  • I am an advocate for trauma-informed practices and understanding how life experiences shape a student's ability to learn and connect with others.
  • My focus is on building resilience, teaching coping skills, empowering our youth, and fostering healthy relationships within the school community.
  • I believe that every student is capable, and my role is to help remove obstacles that prevent them from reaching their potential and provide them with the tools to be successful.
