Low-Income & First Generation Students
Qualify for New Lottery Preferences

As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, starting with the lottery for the 2021-2022 school year, we will fill half of all open spaces with students who qualify as low-income. Also, students who have no parent who has earned a bachelor's degree qualify as possible First-Gen students and  get two entries in the lottery to double their odds of getting into ISM.

For full information, visit our Admission page and read the Open Public Lottery section. Then, if interested in applying, click one of the application links at the top of the Admission page.

If you have questions you would like to ask, please use our Lottery Questions Form to get answers.

Open House Goes Virtual

Through the years, our annual Open House has provided prospective applicant families and students with the opportunity to learn more about ISM's International Baccalaureate curriculum and  inquiry-based teaching and learning. Attendees have visited teachers in classrooms, taken a tour, and heard a formal presentation by the ISM school leaders.

Now, in the midst of a pandemic, that's not going to work in 2021! So we have replaced the on-campus experience with a virtual one. As we have developed this replacement, we have realized that it will be better. It will better represent ISM and better inform those wanting to check our school out. And we can continue to add components and keep it available year-round. So, as one of the many silver linings in the COVID-19 cloud, we have launched this Virtual Open House, and will continue to add features.
