We invite all families interested in enrollment to attend a school tour during the first enrollment lottery window. You do not need to RSVP for these tours, simply show up and meet us at the flagpole.
School Day Tours
On one morning and one afternoon during the first enrollment lottery window, ISM leaders and student ambassadors will conduct a 45-minute tour of the school campus while discussing ISM's mission, vision, philosophies, commitments, academic model, successes, school community, and more. The student ambassadors will escort small groups of tour takers into classrooms at various grade levels for a first-hand look at ISM teaching and learning in action. We will answer questions along the way, and remain available to answer any additional questions after the tour has ended.
Afternoon Tour, November 17, 2016, 2:00-3:00pm
NOTE: Traffic is heavy at the front of our campus from 2:30 until 20-25 minutes past our 3:10pm dismissal time. Though you may take any open parking spot not marked as reserved when you arrive, please be aware that you may be blocked in when you leave. To avoid that, you may want to park along Yosemite Street rather than in our lot. PLEASE DO NOT park along the white curb to the right of the semicircular drive marked as Dropoff-Pickup Only. This area must remain clear for families to pick up their students at the end of the day.
Morning Tour, December 7, 2016, 8:15-9:15am
NOTE: Traffic is heavy at the front of our campus from 7:40 until school starts at 8:00am. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 8:00am. After that, you may take any open parking spot not marked as reserved. After 8:05am, you may also park along the white curb to the right of the semicircular drive marked as Dropoff-Pickup Only. This area must remain clear for families to drop off students until that time.
We will also offer tours during our annual Open House on Saturday, January 7, 2017. These will not afford the chance to see teaching and learning in action; however, interested families will have the opportunity to visit with ISM teachers in their classrooms. Guided tours will start at 9:30am and 11:00am.
