Bobbie Infelise

Bobbie Infelise in a long-time board member who adds wonderful expertise to ISM. She has served in numerous positions of leadership in small, overseas schools. She has also served as principal. She has a unique international school background, and currently serves as a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation team member. She also adds a public school background gained from a number of years as an administrator. She has been a member of the Monterey Peninsula community since 1985. Her husband, Bob Infelise, was on the founding board of ISM. They both had long careers in education, devoting their lives to multiple generations.

Bobbie is a tremendous advocate of internationalism, particularly ISM's commitment to the IB Learner Profile. Her favorite Learner Profile attribute is inquirer. She values the cultural diversity within ISM. She also loves the language variety spoken within the school and in ISM homes. Her favorite thing about ISM is the kids. She loves watching them grow and learn, seeing their expertise blossom in leadership. The ISM Board values Bobbie's role of keeping pulse on the outside community, since she has no children or grandchildren at the school.
