Fresh Lunch Program

Welcome to our 6th year of fresh meals at the International School of Monterey!
This year we will again be serving nutritious meals made right here on our campus. The focus of this program is to give students an opportunity to eat a fresh, well-balanced meal, with appropriate proportions daily. We will continue to serve fresh vegetables and fruit daily, as well as fresh bread from our neighbors at Paris Bakery.

Program Goals
Learning takes place in a variety of formats and designs. ASI seeks to provide participants with rich educational opportunities, making what is learned during the school day vibrant and relevant to their lives. When a child gains competence in activities such as sports, arts, or even gardening, the confidence and skills that come from these experiences are transferable to academic skills and vice versa. ASI stresses good communication, teamwork, perseverance, problem solving and conflict resolution.

Miss Kristen's Activity Calendar can be picked up in the Library during ASI.
