Fresh Lunch Program
ISM families,
We are pleased to announce that effective the 2010-2011 school year, Revolution Foods will now be the lunch provider for ISM's students and staff, providing nutritious and tasty fare!
This organization is on the cutting edge of bringing high quality, nutritious, and varied meals to students and schools across the nation. Revolution Foods has received recognition on Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution website and recently being featured in Time magazine's profile on improving school lunch quality.
With this change comes these benefits:

Free & Reduced Price Lunches (FRPL)
Applications for the FRPL program are available year around in the ISM front office and are accepted on a ongoing basis. Please return all completed applications to Lisa Wichael-Loomis, Special Program Coordinator
For additional support see the link below for Women Infants and Children. WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Do you have a student with food allergies?

Gluten free/allergy/soy milk?
The “Medstat” form is for food allergies, and the “MealSub” form is for milk. When parents have gluten free/allergy issue they need the MedStat form, and when they need soy milk they need the milk sub form. Parents, please fax the forms to George Moran at 510-569-2674.
