Family Share Program - 100% family participation
The International School of Monterey is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. As such 100% of your financial contributions are tax deductible. 501(3)(c) Tax ID# 74-3062542
As the name implies, we ask that all families contribute financially to the maximum extent possible. Our goal is for each family to participate and make contributing to their child’s education a priority in their annual giving. The level of contribution is expected to vary by the financial circumstances of each family; however, we hope that everyone will contribute as generously as they are able. The suggested contribution level is $1,800 per student. (Compare this to the $18,000 price tag for private education!)
Annual Pledge Drive
Goal: 100% of families make a pledge to participate financially. Financial participation is expected at the level that each family can afford with the understanding that the program costs for each student is $1,800 over what the State provides.
Measurement: Thermometer outside of school will report on goal achievement in units of # of families that participate ($1 or more /student). If 250 families, 250 will be the goal.
Single Payment or Monthly Pledge Options
Making a single payment is preferred as it reduces volunteer time for processing and eliminates the need for follow-up. Or if it is more feasible, you may make monthly payments.
